The cocks are considered containers in pressure and are so subjected to the PED directive (2014/68/EU). The PED directive compares the valves to the pipes.
The cock equipped with oildynamic, electric or pneumatic actuators are considered machines and are subjected to the directive 2006/42/CE.
The cocks satisfy the safety minimum requirements requested by the directive.
